I am an art director and visual designer with over a decade of experience building digital products and experiences.

I’ve been fortunate to work for a range of clients, from startups to Fortune 500 companies, including Room & Board, AAA, Cisco, Financial Engines, and Tiffany & Co. My core strengths are user interface and visual design, but I’m comfortable crossing over into UX and closely collaborating with interaction and product designers.

I began my career as a visual designer working for UX-focused agencies in New York and San Francisco. In 2011, I went out on my own as an independent design consultant working with startups including Zola and Gilt Groupe.

Today I’m still a free agent, but since 2013 I have worked primarily with the team at Everyday Industries, a digital product design studio, on a range of mobile apps and e-commerce websites.

I have an MFA in Design from the Dynamic Media Institute at Massachusetts College of Art and an AB in Visual Art from Brown University.

Some things I really enjoy about my work:

– Translating and expanding brand guidelines into digital experiences.

– Concepting experiences & ideation. I like to hand sketch and white board!

– Making cohesive design systems.

– Crafting custom iconography & illustrations.

When I’m not designing, I spend time making artwork and sharing it here. I live with my husband and two little dudes in Arlington, MA.
